General Manager – Motorino

Motorino is an exciting Italian restaurant in the heart of Fitzrovia, Central London, and we are looking for an exceptional General Manager to lead the restaurant and play a key role in its continued growth. This is a hands-on leadership position for an experienced hospitality professional who is passionate about delivering outstanding food, service and guest experiences. You will take full ownership of the restaurant operation, working closely with the ownership team to drive performance, develop people and build a strong, successful business. As General Manager, you will have responsibility for the overall performance and day-to-day operation of the restaurant, including: Taking full operational responsibility for the restaurant and maintaining consistently high service standards. Leading, developing and inspiring the FOH and management teams. Driving an exceptional guest experience and creating a warm, professional and memorable atmosphere. Managing financial performance, including P&L, labour, payroll, purchasing and cost control. Building strong relationships with suppliers, partners and the local community. Ensuring all operational, health & safety and compliance standards are maintained. Working closely with ownership to identify opportunities, improve performance and support long-term growth. Creating a positive, accountable and people-focused team culture. We are looking for a proven General Manager with experience within a high-end, premium or quality-led restaurant environment. You will ideally have: Proven experience as a General Manager within a premium or high-volume restaurant. A strong understanding of quality-led dining and exceptional hospitality. Excellent commercial awareness and confidence managing P&L and operational controls. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, develop and retain a high-performing team. A genuine passion for hospitality, food, service and the guest experience. A hands-on, organised and detail-oriented approach.
