Motor Easy leverages machine learning and a nationwide network of around 10,000 garages to deliver accurate, discounted pricing and convenient repair options.

Its workshop trading platform and marketplace connect garages and partners with Motor Easy members, creating added value for customers and industry partners.

Role Description

The Sales Executive role is a full-time hybrid position based in Reading, with the flexibility to work from home for part of the week.

In this role, the Sales Executive will actively engage prospective and existing members via phone, email, and digital channels to promote Motor Easy’s products and services, such as warranties, servicing plans, and insurance.

The Sales Executive will qualify leads, understand customer needs, present suitable solutions, and manage the end-to-end sales process from initial contact through to closure and follow‑up.

They will maintain accurate records in the CRM system, meet or exceed individual and team sales targets, and contribute feedback to improve sales scripts, campaigns, and customer journeys.

Collaboration with customer service, marketing, and operations teams will be essential to ensure a seamless member experience and high levels of customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • Strong sales and customer engagement skills, including consultative selling, negotiation, and relationship building.
  • Experience with outbound and inbound phone-based sales, and confidence using CRM or sales management tools.
  • Solid communication abilities, including clear verbal communication, active listening, and professional written correspondence.
  • Basic understanding of automotive, motoring, or insurance products, or a proven ability to quickly learn technical product information.
  • Results‑oriented mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and working to performance metrics.
  • Comfort working in a hybrid environment, able to manage time effectively in both office and home settings.
  • Collaborative approach, able to work well within a team and coordinate with other departments.
  • Good numerical and analytical skills for understanding pricing, offers, and customer data.
  • Prior experience in telesales, contact center, automotive services, or financial services is beneficial.
  • High level of integrity and commitment to regulatory compliance and customer fairness principles.
