MotorDesk is an all-in-one ecosystem for the automotive industry, combining stock management, invoicing, website development, social media automation, and over 100 third-party integrations into a single seamless platform. We are looking for a Senior Full Stack PHP Developer to join our team and play a leading role in shaping the future of the MotorDesk platform. As part of our development team, you will drive the expansion of our platform's functionality, ensure scalability, and deliver exceptional experiences for our customers.
What you'll do:
- Lead the design, development, and enhancement of features across the MotorDesk platform.
- Architect and deliver scalable, full-stack solutions spanning front-end and back-end technologies.
- Build, refine, and maintain complex website modules, integrations, and core functionality.
- Work extensively with PHP, SQL, JavaScript, and modern front-end frameworks to deliver high-quality applications.
- Optimise performance, usability, and system reliability across the platform.
- Mentor junior developers, contribute to code reviews, and champion development standards and best practices.
You're the perfect fit if you:
- Have 5+ years experience in PHP development (with strong exposure to large, complex codebases).
- Design and build scalable, maintainable PHP applications - both with and without frameworks.
- Are confident across the full stack, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap, jQuery, SQL, and AWS/cloud environments.
- Have hands-on experience with version control (Git), and modern development workflows.
- Understand software architecture principles and can contribute to system design and technical decision-making.
- Communicate clearly, collaborate effectively, and are comfortable mentoring junior developers.
- Take ownership of your work, thrive in solving complex problems, and balance speed with code quality.
- Are detail-oriented, highly organised, and self-motivated - with the ability to lead projects from concept to completion.

- Experience in web design, web development, or software documentation.
