Self Employed Vehicle Technicians

Motorclean have several opportunities for night shift Vehicle Technicians at a busy Car Supermarket based in Corby.

Paid Per car - Potential earnings £180 to £220 per night

Hours are Monday to Thursday 6pm to 6am

Responsibilities and tasks:

  • Completing vehicle maintenance and repair work on vehicles
  • Diagnosing mechanical faults
  • Performing routine servicing and ensuring all work is completed to a high safety and quality standard
  • Undertake general tyre changing duties for a variety of vehicles
  • Undertake road and ramp testing and inspection as and when required
  • Carry out all repairs in line with approved methods to restore the vehicle to its original condition
  • Plan and organise time effectively to ensure all tasks are completed within set deadlines, achieving efficiency
  • Assist with general workshop tasks as and when required
  • Ensure all work complies with health, safety, and manufacturer standards
  • Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults and carry out necessary repairs
  • Ensure all the relevant documentation is accurately completed and all company procedures are followed

What we are looking for:

  • Applicants must hold at least a Level 2 Mechanical Certificate or an equivalent recognised qualification
  • A solid understanding of vehicle systems
  • The ability to use diagnostic tools and workshop equipment
  • You must have the Right to Work in the UK
  • A full driving licence
