Motorclean is a vehicle preparation company that provides valeting and various services to car companies across the UK. We are seeking a super skilled and enthusiastic Self Employed Valeting Team Leader/Quality Controller to lead our team of valeters and ensure successful result delivery in a fast-paced car valeting site in Burnaston. The purpose of this role is to support the Area Manager in the daily running of the customer site, working with a team of valeters to ensure all vehicles are presented to the utmost quality. This position will be a perfect fit for someone who enjoys working in an active, physical role and has meticulous attention to detail.

Type: Self-Employed

Pay: Day rate of £130

Hours: Monday- Friday 07:00-16:00

Key Duties:

  • Communicate / Report to the Area Manager daily.
  • Coordinate and delegate daily tasks to the workforce.
  • Ensure all vehicles are valeted to the highest standards, using branded equipment and products.
  • Perform thorough inspections on the cars to ensure they meet the company standards and are in a safe condition at all times.
  • Report any mechanical or safety issue immediately upon detection.
  • Use our online system to book, track and report on vehicles.
  • Comply with Health & Safety procedures and ensure the site and all valeting equipment and machinery are properly maintained and secure at all times, report any defects immediately and comply with manufacturers instructions and PPE recommendations.
  • Other duties to support the Branch as and when required.

Skills and Experience:

  • Valid Full Driving Licence (no more than 6 points).
  • High level of attention to detail.
  • Positive attitude with an excellent work ethic.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Professional Car Valeting experience.
