Motorclean have several opportunities for night shift Mechanical Technicians at a busy Car Supermarket based in Corby.
Paid Per car - Potential earnings £180 to £220 per night. Hours are Monday to Thursday 6pm to 6am.
Responsibilities and tasks:
- Completing mechanical maintenance and repair work on vehicles
- Diagnosing mechanical faults
- Performing routine servicing and ensuring all work is completed to a high safety and quality standard
- Undertake general tyre changing duties for a variety of vehicles
- Undertake road and ramp testing and inspection as and when required
- Carry out all repairs in line with approved methods to restore the vehicle to its original condition
- Plan and organise time effectively to ensure all tasks are completed within set deadlines, achieving efficiency
- Assist with general workshop tasks as and when required
- Ensure all work complies with health, safety, and manufacturer standards
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults and carry out necessary repairs
- Ensure all the relevant documentation is accurately completed and all company procedures are followed
What we are looking for:
- Applicants must hold at least a Level 2 Mechanical Certificate or an equivalent recognised qualification
- A solid understanding of vehicle systems
- The ability to use diagnostic tools and workshop equipment
- You must have the Right to Work in the UK
- A full driving licence
