Motorclean have an opportunity for a Self Employed Car Valeter to join our valeting team based at a car dealership in Edinburgh, Scotland.

Pay: £500 per week.

Schedule: This is a full-time position with operating hours between 08:00 and 17:00, Monday to Sunday. Shifts are scheduled on a rota basis, working five days out of seven. A flexible approach to working hours is required for this role.

Responsibilities and tasks:

  • Ensure vehicles are cleaned to a high standard
  • Pre-soak, wash, dry and polish/wax exterior
  • Clean and vacuum interior including seats, windows, carpets, mats, dashboards
  • Dress tyres
  • Apply protective/ceramic coatings to exterior and interior when required
  • Check vehicles for damage and report to Management
  • Maintain valeting tools
  • Handle chemicals according to Health and safety procedures
  • Keep valet areas clean and tidy at all times
  • Move vehicles safely on company grounds
  • Prioritise workload and communicate to relevant department
