Motorclean have an exciting opportunity for a Floating Area Manager, overseeing customer sites throughout London, Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire and Bedfordshire. Motorclean provide vehicle preparation services to a wide range of automotive businesses across the UK including car dealerships, rental companies and auction retailers. The purpose of this role is to assist the Area Managers in ensuring all aspects of our operation is being managed as smoothly as possible, providing excellent Customer Service and assisting with the growth of Motorclean.

Salary is £38,000 to £40,000 basic salary plus company bonus scheme.

Responsibilities:
  • Deliver a high-quality service within agreed budgets and timescales.
  • Develop a close working relationship with the customer and operators.
  • Ensure that the business exceeds operational requirements in all respects, is fully compliant and operates in a manner that mitigates any potential reputational risk to the business.
  • Deliver results required within business plans which will include reporting on the company’s performance.
  • Drive and share best practice across the business, adapting to changes required by the senior management team.
  • Responsible for new site launches and inductions.
  • Conduct regular reviews with customer contacts.
  • Travel to all sites regularly, ensuring all audits are completed by working closely with all team members.
  • Manage absences within the team including annual leave and sickness.
  • Recruit operators as required, utilising all recruitment methods at your disposal.
  • Enforce the company policy on health & safety and promote safe-working practices.
Requirements:
  • Automotive industry experience, ideally within vehicle preparation.
  • Resourceful and Proactive.
  • Negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Full Driving License.
  • Must have the Right to work in UK.
  • Must have Valid Personal UK Bank Account in your own name.
  • Team player.
