Motorclean provide services to Car Dealerships, Auctioneers and Rental companies across the UK.
We are looking for a skilled andreliable Mobile Alloy Wheel Technician / CNC Lathe Operator to join our busy alloy wheel refurbishment team.
In this role you will be provided with a fully equipped company van and will drive to locations across your designated region, including but not limited to Derby. You will be responsible for repairing, refurbishing, and restoring alloy wheels to a high professional standard, including operating a CNC diamond-cutting lathe.
Key responsibilities:
- Operate and set up a CNC diamond-cutting lathe, ensuring wheels are correctly aligned and securely mounted.
- Inspect wheels for kerb damage, scratches, corrosion and other defects before machining.
- Prepare wheels through sanding, grinding and other surface preparation processes.
- Carry out minor cosmetic repairs and prepare wheels for painting or diamond cutting.
- Perform diamond-cutting, polishing, masking and finishing as required.
- Inspect completed work to ensure it meets company and customer standards.
- Carry out basic cleaning, maintenance and troubleshooting of CNC equipment.
- Work safely and efficiently while meeting daily production targets.
- Keep the workshop clean, organised and compliant with health and safety requirements.
- Take responsibility for the quality of your own work and report damaged or unsafe wheels when identified.

- Previous CNC diamond-cutting lathe experience.
- Alloy wheel refurbishment or automotive repair experience.
- Experience with workshop machinery and finishing techniques.
- Full UK driving licence
