About the role

The Car Detailer cleans the inside and outside of vehicles, including washing, rinsing, vacuuming, and polishing using detergents, hoses, and cloths to ensure vehicles are spotless.

Duties

• Paint correction, brush touch-up, buffing, cutting, and polishing
• Detailing used cars
• Tint removal from vehicles
• Applying after-care products and assisting with Workshop Controller duties

Requirements

• High attention to detail and pride in your work
• Physically fit
• Friendly personality
• Ability to follow instructions from the Supervisor and work within a small team
• Experience with safety precautions and WH&S requirements
• Well presented, reliable, and committed
• Passionate about the automotive industry
• Buff machine experience is advantageous
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in hot and cold weather
• Willing to wear PPE and handle detergents and chemicals
