We are currently seeking to employee a Full-Time HGV Class 1 Commercial Vehicle Collection and Delivery Driver at our Basildon Commercial Branch (Postcode SS13 1EY). In addition, the person must be able to collect vans and prestige cars too.
As a the Main driver for the branch you will be responsible for attending to customer\’s needs regarding collection and delivery of commercial vehicles. You must be good dealing with customers face to face, you must have an excellent driver record, you must be clean and tidy, though we will provide a company uniform and have an exemplary time keeping record.
Roles include ;
- Responsibility for collecting and delivering commercial vehicles within agreed time-scales, ensuring the customer receives the best possible service on collection and delivery of their vehicle.
- Assist other branches with collecting and delivery car\’s and LCV\’s as required during busy periods.
- Completing Pre-MOT driver checks and presenting vehicles for MOT at the local testing facilities.
- Use of forklift (licence will be provided) to load vehicles for weighted brake tests and MOT presentation.
- Liaises with Customer Service Team regarding the allocation of jobs.
- Carry out checks on courtesy vehicles and complete necessary paperwork.
