As a Research Insights Coordinator, you will track national and global MND research development and turn detailed evidence into clear information that supports stakeholder engagement and public understanding of motor neurone disease (MND). This is a role for someone who values accuracy and impact and wants their expertise to inform decisions that matter.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and summarise developments in MND and neurodegenerative research
- Support evidence-based insight generation by translating complex research into accessible formats
- Contribute to horizon scanning activity, identifying emerging trends and technologies
- Assist with reports, dashboards and infographics that communicate research insight
- Create content for the MND research blog and research newsletters including Research Monthly and The Researcher
- Support the communications team with research-related communications including press releases, news articles, FAQs and research stories
- Gather content from researchers for awareness campaigns and interviews
- Support management of research enquiries and content updates across platforms, including the Association’s website
About You
- BSc/FE qualification in biological science or equivalent experience
- Experience working with research communications, evidence or scientific information
- Strong ability to summarise and explain complex scientific information clearly
- Excellent written communication skills for varied audiences
- Confident with digital tools to distribute research updates
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
