About the role
Join us as a People Data & Insight Partner and play a pivotal role in shaping our People strategy. In this dynamic role, you’ll transform workforce, learning, and recruitment data into actionable intelligence that drives smarter planning, enhances employee experience, and boosts performance. As our HRIS expert, you’ll champion operational excellence and lead strategic transformation projects – including new system implementations – while harnessing AI and advanced analytics to deliver predictive insights and automation. Key responsibilities
- Act as the HRIS SME, providing support, troubleshooting and training to People team and wider business users.
- Stay informed on emerging AI trends in HR and proactively identify opportunities to integrate AI into people analytics and decision-making.
- Gather, validate and maintain people-related data from multiple sources.
- Ensure data quality, consistency and compliance with data protection regulations (e.g. GDPR) and raise any risks or concerns to the Head of People Operations.
- Analyse workforce data to identify trends, patterns and opportunities across the employee lifecycle.
- Deliver actionable insights to support people initiatives such as talent acquisition, retention, DEI and engagement.
- Produce monthly Executive Committee (ExCo) reporting packs, providing clear insights and commentary on workforce data.
- Support HR processes such as performance reviews, salary benchmarking, annual salary review and employee engagement surveys through data preparation and reporting.
- Design and maintain dashboards and regular reports for people and business leaders.
- Automate reporting processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Partner with people and business leaders to understand data needs and deliver tailored insights.
- Translate complex data into clear, compelling narratives for non-technical audiences.
- Contribute to workforce planning, organisational design and employee experience projects with data-driven inputs.
Skills and Experience
- Experience of large volume data analysis, interpretation of results and production of summaries/recommendations.
- Experience in an MI/Data Analyst role with analytical background.
- Able to identify, assess and articulate risks in the movement and transformation of data.
- Able to evaluate and focus on efforts that add value and are aligned to strategic objectives.
- Proven ability in identifying, analysing, and successfully resolving issues.
- Proven experience in HR analytics, business intelligence, or a related data analysis role.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and Power BI; experience with SQL, Python, or R is a plus.
- Experience with HR systems and data extraction tools.
- Experience using or implementing AI-driven tools for predictive analytics, workforce planning, or employee sentiment analysis is highly desirable.
- Experience of working in a high change environment with emergent thinking.
- Curiosity and adaptability to emerging technologies, with a proactive approach to exploring how AI can enhance people insights and decision-making.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
- Demonstrated experience in salary benchmarking and compensation analytics.
- Good understanding of strategic workforce planning processes and how data supports long-term talent strategies.
- Knowledge of data privacy regulations and ethical data use, particularly GDPR.
- Degree in HR, Business Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field, preferred.
