At MIB our people are passionate about making roads safer by getting uninsured and hit-and-run drivers off our roads. Working in partnership with the Police, Insurers and Government our collective aim is to make it a thing of the past but, until that’s accomplished, we’re here to compensate victims quickly, fairly and compassionately. Last year we helped more than 34,000 people struck by uninsured and hit-and-run drivers and paid over £400 million in compensation to support victims rebuild their lives.

About the role

This role provides high‑quality, professional executive support to enable the effective delivery of MIB’s strategic objectives, including the AtoZ Strategy. You will represent MIB positively at all times, delivering support with discretion, efficiency and clear, confident communication. The role is highly varied, challenging and fast‑paced, spanning multiple workstreams and competing priorities within an ambitious organisation, supported by a collaborative and supportive EA team.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide proactive EA support to the executive team, acting as a trusted gatekeeper.
  • Manage complex diaries, inboxes and meeting requests, ensuring effective prioritisation.
  • Coordinate Board and Committee activity, including meetings and papers.
  • Deliver professional support for events, conferences, and planning activities.
  • Ensure information is handled appropriately and in line with data protection requirements.
  • Manage travel, expenses, subscription and general EA administration.
  • Support continuous improvement by reviewing processes and sharing best practice.
  • Build strong, professional relationships across the organisation.

Skills and experience

  • Proven experience supporting Directors or Senior Managers in an EA/PA role.
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent experience.
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail and ability to prioritise effectively.
  • Confident and professional communicator with strong influencing skills.
  • High levels of discretion and professionalism when handling sensitive information.
  • Strong IT capability, with a high level of proficiency across Microsoft Office applications.
  • Credible and effective within a matrix organisation, managing complexity and pace confidently.

Working Hours: 35

Working Pattern: 9am - 5pm, Monday - Friday

Office Location: Milton Keynes

Job Type: Permanent

IT kit supplied to you £320 (before tax) start up allowance

Hybrid working: 2 days in the office per week
