Honda Motor Europe Corporate Communications & External Affairs division is responsible for the development and delivery of a range of communication activities designed to increase awareness and understanding of Honda’s business activities to a range of internal and external stakeholders. The team consists of associates based in Honda’s European headquarters, with the ultimate aim to protect and enhance the perception of the Honda brand in Europe, and contribute to our European business objectives.
This role will support Honda’s Internal Communications activities amongst sales, engineering, development, and logistics Associates across the European region. You will bring strong project management skills to help realise the regional Internal Communications plan across a range of channels. You will engage with a variety of levels within the organisation, supporting the Department Manager in briefing of President and Senior Executives.
Main responsibilities:- Support the development of written and visual content for internal communications channels, coordinating with a range of agencies and internal stakeholders.
- Coordinate the ‘Inside Honda’ email newsletter, providing news and insight to over 3,500 associates across the region.
- Develop evaluation framework for Inside Honda, helping Department Manager to understand the impact of this activity and improvement points for the future.
- Provide logistics coordination and support to the Department Manager for biannual town hall and senior leadership meetings.
- Support Internal Communications Specialist in the delivery of monthly ‘business update’ meetings, coordinating with Senior leaders to ensure content clarity.
- Work alongside Internal Communications Specialist, External Affairs Lead and Corporate Communications Lead to strengthen delivery of Honda’s activity plan, particularly in the area of Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG) and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) topics.
- In coordination with associates in External Affairs and Corporate Communications, take responsibility for budget tracking, ensuring timely provision of purchase orders and payment of suppliers.
