We're looking for a commercially driven Buyer to join our Trading team on a competitive salary, initially on a one year fixed term contract at our Head Office in St Albans.
You'll be responsible for managing a portfolio of retail, FMCG and convenience categories across our 1200 stores across the UK.
You will develop supplier partnerships, negotiate commercial agreements, driving sales, margin and supplier income.
Using customer and market insights, you'll identify growth opportunities, optimise pricing and promotions, and help deliver a compelling offer for our customers.
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years' experience in Buying or Category Management.
- Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.
- Data-driven with excellent commercial awareness.
- Retail, FMCG, convenience, forecourt or wholesale experience preferred.
