As a Valeting Area Manager you will support our Contract Managers in growing and maintaining high-performing valeting operations. This is a hands-on role focused on operational excellence, compliance, and maintaining the highest brand standards through regular site visits, coaching, and audits. This role covers the north of England and the whole of Scotland.

Responsibilities:

  • Support, coach and train site teams to deliver exceptional results and uphold company standards.
  • Conduct daily checks across assigned sites to ensure compliance and performance consistency.
  • Carry out Weekly Valeting SAS visits covering all sites within the quarter (Standards Availability & Service) within your region.
  • Deliver and coordinate training sessions for new valeting site launches/New CM’s.
  • Attend key site meetings and contribute to continuous operational improvement.
  • Reporting to a Valeting Manager, you will manage two operational regions, to include: 4 days per week visiting 4–5 stores daily Auditing/SAS.
  • Availability to work two weekends per month as part of the rota.
  • 1 day per week dedicated to Development, Admin & SAS reviews with the Head of Valeting/Valeting Manager - Operations.
  • Flexibility to adapt to operational requirements driven by the needs of the business.
  • Weekly diary management, ability to prioritise & deliver KPI’s.
  • Review & Interpret valet sales data on a weekly basis, investigating at site level where required.
  • Review equipment reporting No Sales and No issues currently logged daily.
  • Review declined work orders and follow up on action points, approve quotes if required.
  • Participate in weekly valeting Teams calls, Regional Teams calls, Face to Face Monthly Valeting Meeting & Regular 1-2-1 Meetings with line Manager.
  • Complete 3 contractor audits and 4 near-miss reports per quarter.
  • Undertake overnight stays (Average 2/3 per week) as required to support site visits and operational needs, Average mileage likely to exceed 35,000 miles.
  • Ability to communicate at all levels.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in retail site operations is advantageous but not essential.

Required Skills:

  • Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Highly self-motivated and capable of working independently.
  • Strong diary and time management abilities.
  • Travel extensively (35,000 miles plus PA) and work flexibly to meet business demands.
