This is a rare and exciting opportunity to step into a senior leadership role at the heart of our Motor business. You’ll shape, define and deliver the end‑to‑end product portfolio - translating strategy into a clearly prioritised roadmap that drives measurable commercial outcomes and customer impact. You’ll operate as part of the Leadership Team, bringing together product, partnerships and governance to create a high‑performing, scalable product function. A key focus will be defining and embedding a clear Target Operating Model, ensuring roles, accountabilities and ways of working are aligned to deliver change at pace and with discipline. What will your day look like?
- Define and own the Motor product vision and multi‑year strategy, ensuring strong alignment to market insight, customer needs and commercial priorities.
- Translate strategy into a clear, prioritised and outcome‑focused roadmap, balancing value, risk and feasibility.
- Lead the end‑to‑end product lifecycle, ensuring ideas are shaped, prioritised and delivered in a structured and sequenced way.
- Drive portfolio‑level value realisation, with clear ownership of outcomes, benefits tracking and commercial impact.
- Establish and embed a clear Product Target Operating Model, ensuring role clarity, decision‑making frameworks and consistent ways of working across teams.
- Lead change at pace, ensuring delivery is well‑governed, in control and meets regulatory expectations.
- Oversee go‑to‑market activity to ensure launches are well‑coordinated, operationally ready and achieve adoption targets.
- Provide clear, confident leadership across senior stakeholders, driving alignment and making timely decisions.
Alongside this, you will:
- Drive delivery discipline across the portfolio, ensuring initiatives are sequenced, controlled and delivered to plan.
- Remove blockers and create clarity to enable teams to execute effectively in a fast‑paced environment.
- Lead and develop a high‑performing team of Product Managers, Product Owners and Partnership Managers.
- Build a culture of accountability, pace and continuous improvement across product delivery.
- Use data and insight to measure success, track value and inform continuous optimisation.
What do we expect from you?
- Proven experience defining and delivering product vision, strategy and roadmaps within a regulated financial services environment.
- A strong track record of driving commercial outcomes and value realisation.
- Experience designing or embedding Target Operating Models, bringing clarity to roles, processes and ways of working.
- Demonstrated ability to lead large‑scale change and transformation, delivering at pace while maintaining control and quality.
- Strong understanding of product governance, Consumer Duty and regulatory expectations.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and align at Executive level.
- Strong commercial and analytical acumen, using data to inform decisions and prioritisation.
- Proven people leadership, building high‑performing, outcome‑focused teams.
Ideally, you’ll also have:
- Experience in motor finance or closely related sectors.
- Knowledge of HP, PCP, leasing and other lending products.
- Experience operating in complex, matrixed environments, orchestrating cross‑functional delivery.
