About the Role As a Parts Controller, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficiency and profitability of the repair process. Working as part of an experienced team, you will be responsible for the procurement, management, and distribution of vehicle parts, paint, and materials, ensuring seamless workflow and maximum productivity. Key Responsibilities * Identify and order parts ensuring most cost effective solution (dealers OE, trade outlets OES, and salvage Green) * Ensure all parts and materials are correctly allocated and costed for each job. * Manage and maintain optimum stock levels for vehicle parts, paint, and consumables. * Check incoming parts, allocate them to numbered bin locations, and maintain an organised storage system. * ·Distribute parts efficiently to the workshop team, ensuring minimal delays. * Maintain accurate stock records using the company’s computerised stock system. * Work closely with reception and workshop control to ensure smooth operations. * Professionally handle parts-related queries, providing prompt and accurate responses. * Administer returns and liaise with accounts teams regarding discrepancies or exceptional items. * Maintain clean, safe, and organised stores in line with company policies. This role is integral to ensuring parts availability, workshop efficiency, and cost control, directly contributing to the customer experience and business profitability. About You You are a highly experienced Parts Advisor or Parts Controller with a commercial mindset and a passion for delivering high standards of accuracy, efficiency, and customer service.
