About the Role
As a Group Parts Controller, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficiency and profitability of the repair process. Working as part of an experienced team, you will be responsible for the procurement of vehicle parts, ensuring seamless workflow and maximum productivity.
Key Responsibilities
• Identify and order parts ensuring most cost-effective solution (dealers OE, trade outlets OES, and salvage Green)
• Ensure all parts are correctly allocated and costed for each job.
• Work closely with reception, workshop control and central teams to ensure smooth operations.
• Professionally handle parts-related queries, providing prompt and accurate responses.
• Administer returns and liaise with accounts teams regarding discrepancies or exceptional items.
• Provide sites with regular backorder updates and suggest suitable alternative options where available.
• Assist sites in chasing and allocating outstanding credits from returned parts.
• Complete final pricing checks, ensuring all costs are accurate and properly recorded for invoicing.
This role is integral to ensuring parts availability, workshop efficiency, and cost control, directly contributing to the customer experience and business profitability.
