- Preparing journals, accruals and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Monitoring labour, overhead and operating costs across the business.
- Managing franchise fee reporting and financial controls.
- Supporting month-end reporting and ensuring reporting deadlines are met.
- Partnering with operational managers to understand business performance.
- Attending regional finance reviews and providing commercial insight.
What we’re looking for:
- Part-qualified (ACCA, CIMA or ACA), qualified by experience, or actively studying towards a professional qualification.
- Experience in a Finance Analyst, Management Accounts or Commercial Finance role.
- Advanced Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH and SUMIFS.
- Experience analysing and validating large, complex datasets.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Experience of budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Excellent planning, organisation and communication skills.
- Ability to build strong relationships with both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
At Moto, we're more than motorway services. We create memorable experiences for millions of customers every year, and our support teams play a vital role in making that happen. You'll join a collaborative finance team where you'll have the opportunity to develop your analytical, commercial and business partnering skills while working in a business that's constantly evolving and growing.
