Regional Maintenance Engineer
£40,000 Potential bonus, Company Van and Colleague benefits
Covering sites Blyth, Grantham, Sawtry, Peterborough and Cambridge
In this role you will be expected to work 1 weekend in 4 to 8 depending on staffing levels. Telephone support is required to our help desk and sites on technical issues as they arise.

We are looking to recruit a multi‑skilled engineer to provide level 1 maintenance support, who is able to work at fast pace, recognise key priorities quickly, thrive on change and take pride in consistently providing great service. It’s likely that you’re already working in a facilities/maintenance environment with experience in all building maintenance disciplines and have either a recognised mechanical or electrical qualification e.g., 17th/18th Edition. You should also be HVAC familiar and/or qualified.

Responsibilities
- You will report to the Facilities Regional Manager and will work closely with site management teams and the Support Centre Helpdesk to ensure both reactive and planned preventative maintenance is completed in an efficient and effective manner.
- Management of all maintenance works on site
- Completion of PPMs (fire safety, H&S & compliance)
- Manager all external contractors
- Carry out small reactive works on site
- Provide desk‑based support for all Moto unit‑based businesses as part of a service‑focused support team for all Facilities issues and equipment failures
- Manage escalations between Moto business and our 3rd party service providers through to completion and effectively communicate call progress to all interested parties
- Provide daily administration of financial reporting to Site Operations Managers and senior operations team
- Build and continually improve a central source of known issues and procedures to assist the support process

Person Specification
- Planned Maintenance – including fire safety checks, H&S checks, plus PPM on critical onsite plant equipment
- Reactive maintenance – including undertaking minor plumbing/electrical and/or building repairs
- Attention to detail and compliance especially to Health and Safety & Fire safety
- Managing/overseeing Audit works for fire safety and H&S, (including obtaining quotes and overseeing the agreed works to ensure they are completed to a satisfactory standard)
- Managing local contractors and overseeing the works they carry out
- Collating and submitting information in an agreed format.
- Self‑motivated and can manage their working hours effectively
- Prioritise work schedules and manage conflicting demands
- Have a flexible approach and demonstrate initiative
- Possess great communication skills
