Cover sessions for the below weekly class schedule:
- Mondays at 7pm / Circuit Class / 45mins
- Tuesdays at 7pm / Yoga Class (can also be a stretching class) / 45mins
- Wednesdays at 6.30pm / Strength & Conditioning / 45mins
We are seeking a reliable, motivated and customer-focused Group Exercise Instructor to assist us with covering group exercise classes on ad-hoc requests including any planned annual leave within a premium residential gym environment. This is an excellent opportunity for self-employed instructors looking to generate additional income, with potential for building a sustainable client base (if PT qualified).
You will primarily deliver:
- Weekly group exercise classes
Key Responsibilities
- Lead engaging, results-driven group exercise classes suitable for mixed fitness levels
- Manage appointment attendance and session administration via our booking platform
- Maintain professional communication with the head office management team
- Provide expert fitness advice, motivation and ongoing support to residential gym members
Candidate Profile
We are looking for a confident, approachable and energetic minimum qualified Level 2 Fitness Instructor who:
- Demonstrates strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Provides outstanding customer service within a fitness or leisure environment
- Is highly organised, reliable and self-motivated
- Is confident working independently within a residential or boutique gym setting
Essential Qualifications & Requirements
- Level 2 Fitness Instructor Certificate (REPs/CIMSPA recognised or equivalent)
- Valid self-employed status
- Minimum £5m Professional Indemnity Insurance
- Availability for weekday evenings at the current classes schedule mentioned above
- Experience in delivering group exercise, gym floor training and preferably 1-1 personal training
