About The Role
As the Staff Product Manager on the International expansion team, you’ll partner closely with sales, engineering, customer success, product leaders, designers, engineers and other stakeholders to drive the internationalisation of Motive’s products. This includes building net new products to serve customers in new markets, as well as working to adapt Motive’s existing products to international use cases that will scale rapidly. You will also contribute to Motive’s overall international strategy by assisting with market research, benchmarking, financial and risk assessments, and more.
This is an exciting opportunity to get in on the ground floor of a new team that is leading one of the most important strategic initiatives at the company. You will lead international-focused roadmaps, and interface with nearly every team in the product org as we look to ensure the success of Motive’s international expansion efforts. We operate as a “startup” within the larger org, so you will wear many hats in this role, and have the opportunity to solve interesting problems on a daily basis.
To succeed in this role, you must be comfortable influencing leaders across the company and navigating complex technical and organisational challenges. Being entrepreneurial and having a growth mindset is critical.
What You’ll Do
- Drive our platform internationalisation strategy & execution. Define how to take Motive’s hardware & software global and then make it happen.
- Build a deep understanding of the unique customer needs in international markets, and translate these insights into a prioritised international product roadmap.
- Work with every product team at the company to drive internationalisation projects and bring their product areas up to the internationalisation bar.
- Establish success metrics for internationalisation platform that contribute to long-term company success.
What We’re Looking For
- 6+ years in product management at a B2B company or on operational products
- Deep analytical and dive deep skills. Ability to synthesise results for an executive level audience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to influence up and across successfully.
- Previous experience in a startup or new team environment.
