About The Role
We are looking for a Senior Marketing Manager to lead all things marketing for the UK. This is a hands‑on, generalist role where you own the UK marketing strategy and execution across demand generation, events, brand, partners, and all localised content needs. This person will be responsible for end‑to‑end blog and content generation to support brand, campaigns, and demand generation, ensuring our messaging resonates in‑market and drives measurable pipeline impact. You will be the primary marketing lead for the UK, working on a scrappy team with limited day‑to‑day support from the US. You should be comfortable prioritising ruthlessly, making trade‑offs, delegating to the resources you do have and knowing when to pull in agency or contractor support. You will partner closely with UK Sales leadership and global Marketing teams to drive awareness, pipeline and revenue, while bringing the voice of the UK customer back into the business.
What You’ll Do
- Build and own the integrated UK marketing plan across key segments, ensuring full alignment to regional revenue and pipeline goals, and take core responsibility for developing and executing inbound programmes that generate high‑quality pipeline.
- Set clear priorities across campaigns, events, content and partner initiatives based on impact and available resources.
- Act as the primary point of contact for UK Sales leadership and core cross‑functional partners.
- Execute multichannel programmes, alongside US counterparts, (email, digital, social, events, partners) to generate qualified leads and pipeline.
- Localise and extend global campaigns for the UK market, adapting messaging, offers and channels.
- Build account and territory plays with Sales and track performance from lead to opportunity.
- Act as a key contributor to localising product and company positioning, messaging, and value propositions by building strong feedback loops that capture market learnings and guide iteration.
- Create and adapt content for the UK website, email, webinars, events and social channels.
- Draft and localise content for Motive’s UK website, the Motive blog, email campaigns, webinars, social media, and other UK‑facing digital properties, ensuring alignment with local market needs, tone, and terminology.
- Represent the voice of the UK customer internally, feeding insights from marketing activities to Product, Sales and Marketing.
- Plan and execute UK field events, trade shows, customer roundtables and executive programmes end to end.
- Work with regional partners and associations on joint campaigns, events and content.
- Build and showcase UK customer stories in collaboration with UK PMM.
- Support the UK brand presence across social and web in partnership with the global Brand team.
- Coordinate with the UK PR agency on announcements, media opportunities and thought leadership.
- Manage the UK marketing budget and make efficient choices on where to invest and when to bring in agency support.
- Build lightweight processes, documentation and reporting that make UK marketing activity visible and repeatable.
- Use data to test, learn and decide where to double down, pause or pivot.
Qualifications
- 8‑10+ years of B2B marketing experience, ideally in SaaS, technology or enterprise software.
- Proven track record owning regional or segment‑level go‑to‑market plans that drive pipeline and revenue.
- Experience across several marketing disciplines (for example demand generation, field or events, product marketing, content).
- Strong written and verbal communicator who can translate complex products into clear, compelling stories for UK audiences.
- Highly organised, able to manage multiple projects at once and make sound prioritisation calls with limited guidance.
- Comfortable working in a fast‑moving, ambiguous environment and building programmes from the ground up.
- Confident collaborator with senior Sales leaders and cross‑functional teams, with the ability to influence without direct authority.
- Analytical mindset with experience using Salesforce and marketing automation or similar tools to measure and optimise performance.
- Based in the UK with the ability to be in our London office 3 days a week and travel within the EU for customer meetings and events, and occasionally to other markets.
Creating a diverse and inclusive workplace is one of Motive’s core values. We are an equal‑opportunity employer and welcome people of different backgrounds, experiences, abilities and perspectives.
