About the role:
- Location: Banff, Aberdeenshire
- Hours: Full Time
The Forklift Operator/Labourer will undertake painting, general housekeeping and assist the rental team in day-to-day tasks while ensuring all work is carried out in compliance with relevant Health and Safety guidelines. You’ll join a supportive, hands-on team where no two days are quite the same. You’ll gain experience across different areas of the workshop and yard, working alongside experienced colleagues while playing an important part in keeping our equipment and operations running safely and efficiently.
About the team:
As a part of our Manufacturing team, you’ll become part of a hardworking and skilled team who are always working to high standards and specifications. You will be supported by our Fabrication Chargehand and have a team of skilled colleagues working alongside you, whose goal will be to enable a quick and safe turnaround of equipment.
Responsibilities:
- People: Adopt and promote the Motive Offshore Group People Values and ensure their use is embedded throughout. Develop strong working relationships with key stakeholders – clients, colleagues, etc.
- Planet: Lead by example in setting the highest possible standards in the promotion of People Values, HSEQ procedures and best practice, ensuring compliance with the Motive Offshore Group HSEQ Policy, procedures, standards and regulatory obligations. Immediately report all accidents, incidents, near misses or environmental concerns. Adhere to and participate in company-wide sustainability policies, procedures and initiatives as they are developed to support our Net Zero objectives.
- Product: Forklift operator for B1, B2 and B3. Keep the yard and workshop clean and organised to a high standard. Carry out de-mobilisation notes on equipment returned to site from clients. Wash equipment on return from clients. Store equipment in dedicated areas. General housekeeping tasks. Assist in the setup and testing of all relevant equipment.
Required skills/knowledge:
- B1, B2 and B3 tickets (preferred, however, not essential as training can be given).
- Ability to organise time effectively and prioritise workload, as required.
- Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills.
- Willingness to understand and learn the Motive Offshore Group processes and procedures.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Self-motivated.
- Full UK Driving licence required.
