You’ll lead and grow a small engineering team that values pragmatism, ownership and getting useful things shipped.
- Backend services, internal tools and automation
- Event-driven systems and platform reliability
- AI-assisted and agentic tooling to improve engineering workflows and reduce manual work
- Strong fullstack engineering experience
- Solid TypeScript experience; exposure to PHP is useful but not essential
- Experience with Postgres or similar relational databases
- Comfortable owning systems from design through to deployment and maintenance
- Experience building event-driven systems
- Confident using modern AI-assisted coding tools
- Happy coaching others and helping improve engineering standards

Location: Ideally you would be able to spend some time in the Kent based office, but we will be flexible for the right person.
