Motive Group are hiring a Head of Internal IT to support and lead the technology backbone of a fast-growing fintech with global reach. They are 500 people across 3 offices. You will be primarily based in the London office.
You’ll take ownership of all internal IT operations across the UK, EU, and US, ensuring teams have secure, reliable, and scalable technology as we continue to expand.
If you’re equally comfortable defining IT strategy and rolling up your sleeves to deliver it, this is your chance to make a real impact. You’ll manage a small but ambitious team, drive continuous improvement across systems and tools, and partner closely with senior leadership to shape our future tech environment.
Responsibilities- Take ownership of internal IT operations across the UK, EU, and US to ensure secure, reliable, and scalable technology during global growth.
- Define IT strategy and lead delivery through a small but ambitious team.
- Drive continuous improvement across systems and tools and partner with senior leadership to shape the technology environment.
- Leadership experience in internal IT within a scaling tech / fintech environment.
- Hands-on management of 1st–3rd line support teams with experience implementing service excellence and SLAs.
- Deep knowledge of Microsoft 365, Azure, networking, and SaaS platforms.
- Strong grasp of IT security best practices — including access control, incident management, and compliance awareness.
- Excellent stakeholder management and a passion for building high-performing teams.
