Account Executive – IoT and Energy –

Motive Group are the exclusive recruitment partner for an Energy Tech business helping reduce Co2 and save money in the process.

What you\’ll be doing:

  • ✅ Owning your pipeline from start to close: winning new logos and growing them into loyal customers across Professional Services, Retail, and Facilities.
  • ✅ Engaging senior leaders at major global companies, particularly in Sustainability, ESG, and Operations.
  • ✅ Using data-driven insights to prioritise your efforts and accelerate deal cycles.
  • ✅ Learning daily from experienced colleagues who\’ve successfully closed deals with multi-billion-pound customers.

Who you are:

  • You\’ve been successfully closing sales for at least 2 years.
  • Experienced in selling directly to senior stakeholders—especially Sustainability and Operational leaders.
  • Comfortable navigating significant revenue deals in commercial industries.
  • Use to structured selling in a consultative environment. We use MEDDPICC, but experience of any process driven methodology is useful.
  • Organised, humble, and eager to learn.
  • Experienced with CRM tools (We use Hubspot).
  • Passionate about sustainability and eager to join a dynamic start-up/scale-up environment.
