We are looking to recruit an HGV Technician for a franchised main commercial vehicle dealer with a history of over 50 years and operating across 7 dealerships. We are currently looking for enthusiastic, reliable, and committed commercial vehicle technicians to join our workshop at various branches. We have vacancies for heavy goods technicians and van technicians. This is a full-time position, reporting directly to the Workshop Controller and Service Manager.
Some of the main duties for the role will include (but are not limited to):
- Inspection and repair of vehicles to DVSA standards including MOT preparation and presentation to test.
- Fault diagnosis including the use of specialist market leading diagnostic equipment.
- General mechanical and electrical repairs.
- Offsite working, including breakdown attendance.
- A focus on customer service and a dedication to keeping our customers' vehicles on the road and minimizing downtime.
