The Role
We are seeking a reliable and experienced HGV2 HIAB Driver to join our client's team. The successful HGV2 HIAB Driver will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of materials to customers, ensuring all goods are loaded, transported and unloaded in accordance with company procedures and health and safety requirements. The role will involve regular customer interaction, so a professional and courteous approach is essential. The ideal HGV2 HIAB Driver will take pride in their work, have a strong focus on safety and be committed to providing a high standard of service.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely deliver products and materials to customers within agreed timescales.
- Load and unload materials accurately and safely using the vehicle-mounted HIAB crane.
- Ensure all loads are correctly secured and comply with relevant legal and safety requirements.
- Carry out daily vehicle inspections and report any defects or issues immediately.
- Operate the HIAB crane and other relevant equipment.
