We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Class 2 HGV Driver to join their team in Southampton .
This is a great opportunity for a reliable and experienced driver looking for consistent Monday-to-Friday work with a reputable company.
The Role As a Class 2 Driver, your duties will include:
Delivering palletised goods to residential and business locations
Operating curtain-side vehicles
Using a tail lift and pump truck
Completing up to 15 deliveries per day
Carrying out vehicle checks and ensuring all deliveries are completed safely and efficiently
Providing a professional and courteous service to customers
There is no handballing involved.
Requirements To be considered for this role, you will need:
A valid Class 2 (C+E) licence
Minimum 2 years' Class 2 driving experience
Experience delivering to both residential and business sites
Experience with pallet deliveries, tail lifts and pump trucks
A good understanding of driver hours and working time regulations
A reliable, professional and customer-focused attitude
Hours & Pay Monday to Friday
7:00am start
Up to 40 hours per week , with overtime available
£17.00 £19.00 per hour
Overtime paid at x1.2 after 40 hours
No weekend work
No handballing
