Motiva Recruitment is recruiting experienced Class 2 drivers for regular temporary and ongoing work with established builders’ merchants and distribution businesses. We are looking to build a reliable local driver pool to cover planned bookings, holidays, sickness and longer-term assignments. Work is available across several local branches rather than at one single depot.
The role:
- Driving Class 2 vehicles on local and regional deliveries
- Delivering building materials to commercial and residential customers
- Completing daily vehicle checks
- Ensuring loads and paperwork are checked before departure
- Following site, transport and health and safety procedures
- Providing a professional service when dealing with customers
- Keeping the transport team informed of any delays or delivery issues
Typical start times are between 6:00am and 7:30am, Monday to Friday. Shift lengths and availability will vary depending on the assignment.
Requirements:
- Full UK driving licence with Category C entitlement
- Valid Driver CPC
- Valid Digital Tachograph Card
- Recent Class 2 driving experience
- Good knowledge of drivers’ hours and working-time regulations
- A reliable and professional approach
- No serious or recent driving convictions
Additional HIAB or Moffett qualifications are beneficial but are not essential for this particular position.
