Hours/time commitment: Thursday evenings between 4pm and 6pm (this could be subject to change) for the period June 2025 to October 2026
What is the role?: Building upon our desire to support young people in learning new skills, you will work with the team to help with a range of bike mechanics or maintenance issues
What does a day in the life of this role look like?: With scope to support in a group youth-hub setting alongside other team members, or 1:1 with a young person, you will be able to support them in fixing and improving their bikes, building their knowledge and skills and improving their confidence in the process
Are there any key skills, attitudes or experience needed for this role?: Knowledge of and experience in in bike maintenance, patience to support young people. An enhanced DBS is required for this role and if you are successful, we will support you in gaining this.
