Purpose of the job:
To work collaboratively with young people to build trusted relationships, developing and delivering provision, which engages and empowers young people alongside equipping them with the skills, resilience and opportunities to thrive.
What is the role?:
A Sessional Worker at Motiv8 supports the delivery teams to provide consistent, tailored one-to-one and group support to vulnerable and at-risk young people, building strong, trusting relationships to assess their individual needs, reduce risk-taking behaviours, and promote positive choices, while developing personalised action plans, delivering life skills and confidence-building activities, safeguarding their wellbeing, maintaining accurate records and working collaboratively with schools, families and external agencies to support sustained engagement in education, employment and personal development, ultimately empowering young people to build resilience, improve their opportunities, and achieve safer, more positive futures.
We are looking for dedicated Sessional Workers (experienced or someone looking to train or increase their experience of working with young people and their families) for our vibrant Portsmouth team. You will be part of a community team, offering a varied programme of activities and opportunities to support young people's personal, social and emotional development.
