MotionTech is hiring an Industrial Electrician to strengthen our growing internal installation team. This is a permanent opportunity to join a close-knit industrial automation business delivering high-quality control system installations across the UK.

As part of our continued growth, we are building our own strong internal installation capability creating long-term opportunities for skilled electricians who want to develop within a forward-thinking automation business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install cable containment systems including tray, trunking and conduit
- Install and terminate SY, CY, YY and similar industrial cabling
- Connect 400V motors, 24V DC motors, sensors and safety devices
- Terminate and connect control panels
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, cable schedules and layout drawings
- Assist with dead testing and functional testing on site
This is a hands-on, site-based installation role working within structured project teams across the UK.
What We’re Looking For
We are seeking a proactive, team-focused Industrial Electrician with strong industrial experience and a high standard of workmanship.
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Level 3 City & Guilds in Electrical Installation (or equivalent)
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- Proven industrial installation experience
- Ability and willingness to work away from home Monday–Friday
- Full UK driving licence
Desirable
- 2391 Inspection & Testing
- NVQ Level 3 / Completed Apprenticeship
- AM2
- ECS Card, IPAF, PASMA, SSSTS or First Aid
What’s On Offer
- £39,000 – £45,000 per annum DOE
- Travel time paid at full hourly rate
- £35 overnight allowance when working away
- Hotels arranged and paid for
- Company vehicle provided to established staff
- 40p per mile if using own vehicle
- Overtime available (1.5x weekends)
