Day to day, you'll split your time between planned preventative work and reactive fault-finding — with the tools, systems, and team around you to do both properly.

You will:

  • Deliver planned preventative maintenance across automated material handling systems
  • Respond to breakdowns quickly, diagnosing and resolving faults to minimise downtime
  • Fault-find on electrical, mechanical, and PLC-controlled equipment
  • Maintain conveyors, motors, gearboxes, pneumatics, and automated handling systems
  • Use the CMMS to log maintenance activity and track performance data

What you'll bring:

  • NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical, Mechanical, or Multi-Skilled Engineering
  • Proven maintenance experience in logistics, automation, FMCG, or manufacturing
  • Strong fault-finding skills across electrical, mechanical, and PLC-controlled systems
  • Hands‑on experience with conveyors, drives, gearboxes, and pneumatics
  • Comfortable working 12‑hour rotating shifts including nights and weekends
