We’re hiring a Maintenance Engineer to join MotionTech's growing team in Swindon - supporting a brand-new automated logistics system that blends cutting‑edge AMR (Autonomous Mobile Robots) with traditional conveyor technology. The Role
As a Maintenance Engineer, you’ll play a key role in keeping our customer’s automated systems operating at peak performance. You’ll be part of a small, skilled team, providing both planned and reactive maintenance across conveyors, AMRs, and automated handling systems within a fast‑paced logistics environment.
Location: Swindon (SN3). Salary: Up to £52,000 (inclusive of shift allowance). Overtime available. Hours: 12‑hour shifts, working on a four on, four off rotation (days and nights).
What you’ll be doing:
- Delivering planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and responding quickly to breakdowns
- Supporting site uptime and performance against KPIs
- Working safely to H&S standards, ensuring compliance with AMH and client policies
- Using the CMMS system to record, plan and complete maintenance tasks
- Supporting continuous improvement projects to enhance equipment reliability
- Maintaining clear communication with the engineering and operations teams
- Ensuring all documentation and reports are accurate and up to date
