Based in Southampton, we develop advanced technologies to solve real-world problems across diverse industries. We\βre looking for a driven and technically capable Apprentice Engineer to support our workshop operations and contribute to the fabrication and development of next-generation robotic systems.
The Opportunity:
As an Apprentice Engineering Technician, you\βll play a vital role in supporting the daily functions of our workshop and assisting engineers in the prototyping, testing, and assembly of robotics and UAV systems. You\βll receive structured training, mentorship, and the chance to develop skills in mechanical design, fabrication, and CAD. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience and kick-start your career in a cutting-edge field.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain an organised and efficient workshop, ensuring equipment is in good working order.
- Collaborate with engineers to fabricate prototype and final parts for robotic and UAV systems.
- Assist with testing, experimentation, data collection, and documentation.
- Learn to design, model, and analyse mechanical components and systems using CAD software (Fusion 360).
