Motion Mapping is an AV hire, installation, and live events company based in Ipswich. We deliver audio, video, lighting, and projection mapping for clients across the UK — from corporate events and product launches to permanent installations and live shows. We work closely with our clients to craft bespoke solutions that achieve their goals, and our team values collaboration, practical problem-solving, and delivering results we're proud of.
This is an on-site role based in Ipswich for a Warehouse Assistant / Technician, with part-time or full-time hours considered (25–40 hours per week). The Warehouse Technician will handle day-to-day operations such as:
- Preparing AV equipment for upcoming jobs
- Picking and packing from job sheets
- Loading and unloading vans
- Checking returned equipment back in
- Managing inventory
The role also involves supporting basic equipment maintenance, cable testing, and (if certified) PAT testing. It’s a hands-on position working closely with our technical team to keep the warehouse organised and ensure every job leaves complete, tested, and on time.
Qualifications:
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work collaboratively in a small team
- Practical, hands-on approach and ability to work on own initiative
- Physical capability to lift and move equipment safely
- Ability to handle inventory and stock control efficiently
- Willingness to learn AV equipment and warehouse systems
- Prior experience in a warehouse or logistics role is a plus
- Full UK driving licence (desirable)
- AV equipment knowledge or previous AV experience (desirable)
- Experience with rental management systems such as Current RMS (desirable)
