We're looking for a Graduate Quantity Surveyor to join our team on a primarily office-based position, working alongside our Contracts Manager and Senior Quantity Surveyor.
The role also involves occasional site visits as project requirements dictate, giving you hands-on site experience and the chance to assist with project coordination and commercial activities.
This is a great opportunity for someone at the start of their career to build practical, commercial experience within a busy fire stopping division.
- What you'll be doing
- Assisting the Contracts Manager with the day-to-day running of the fire stopping division, including coordinating orders, programming works, logistics, training requirements and general project administration.
- Working alongside and learning from the Senior Quantity Surveyor to develop commercial experience — preparing and submitting applications for payment, handling variations and cost tracking.
- Building a broader understanding of the overall commercial management of projects.
- Attending site as needed to support project coordination and gain practical experience.
What we're looking for
- Either currently studying towards a Quantity Surveying degree, or a recent graduate with a degree or HND in a relevant discipline.
- A willingness to learn, good organisation, and an interest in developing a career in commercial and project management.
- PPE
- Steel toe cap boots required. All other PPE will be issued
