A well-established North West civil engineering and groundworks contractor is looking for an experienced Site Manager / Foreman to join the team on an ongoing basis, with an immediate start available. Working on commercial and industrial developments across the South Cumbria and North Lancashire area, you will be running groundworks and civils packages from the ground up managing labour, plant and materials to keep the job on programme and on budget.
The role:
- Day-to-day management of groundworks and civils operations on site
- Overseeing drainage (foul and surface water), roads
Looking for:
- Proven experience managing groundworks / civils on commercial or industrial projects
- SMSTS (or SSSTS) and a valid CSCS card
- First Aid at Work (or willing to obtain)
- Setting-out competence an advantage
- Experience of works to adoptable standard (S278 / S38 / S104) desirable
