Purpose of the Role
To competently follow a predefined training program, enabling the trainee to learn, practice and build competency in delivering products to the standards and specifications expected by Motion Applied and our customers.
Role Dimensions
The trainee programme is a staged development process for a minimum of 24 months, comprising of a dual approach between internal and external training programmes.
Learn and progress your skill sets over the training course to manufacture sub-assemblies and units to IPC class 3 or higher.
Once you have successfully completed the training programme you will be a certified build technician.
Knowledge, Skills, Qualifications and Experience
- Good GCSE grades or equivalent in English and Maths.
- A generally inquisitive nature, interested in how things work and how they are constructed.
- An interest in Motorsport, Automotive or Communications industries would be an advantage
- Good communicator with Basic PC skills.
- A positive outlook, eager to gain knowledge and self-improve.
- Good time management.
- Good attention to detail to allow you to maintain or exceed high levels of production standards and efficiency.
- Calm and composed in moments of pressure
- Ability to fully contribute to the process of continuous improvements.
