Overview

We are looking for confident candidates with experience working in retail to join our sales team. The position available is within 1 of our 3 retail sites in Stockton & Thornaby.

Responsibilities

  • Serving customers and helping them find the clothing they require.
  • Restocking the shop and keeping it clean and tidy.
  • Picking clothing to satisfy orders.
  • Carry out stock takes.
  • Attend school selling events in summer months.

Skills and qualifications

  • No experience is required; however if candidates have worked in retail and clothing it would be more desirable.
  • Candidates need to be flexible as there are additional ad hoc duties when the shop is quiet.
  • The successful candidate will work at either Motif8 Embroidery, Rawcliffes of Stockton or Tees Valley Schoolwear.
  • There may be a requirement to move between stores to cover personnel during holidays and sickness.

Hours and pay

We are looking for a variety of candidates from full time to part time. The shops are open Monday to Saturday 0900 - 1700, so hours of work will be within this time.

Wages are based on a candidate\'s capability; however they are likely to start at minimum wage for the duration of the probationary period (6 months).
