About the role

Reporting to the Head of Finance Smart Solutions, the Management Accountant will have overall responsibility for the day-to-day accounting function at our Antrim office and will maintain and develop group reporting, whilst ensuring the business is compliant with internal guidelines and procedures and external regulatory requirements. In addition, this role will work closely with the Director of Credit and Compliance, to create operational and commercial efficiencies in the credit control department.

Key Responsibilities

  • Group Reporting, Financial Control and Compliance
  • Weekly Sales Reporting and Forecasting to SLT
  • Preparation of Management Accounts for 2 companies and complete divisional P&L
  • Constant evolution of the control processes in place
  • Identification of balance sheet risks and subsequent mitigation
  • Management and control of banking
  • Compliance with all external audit, internal audit, HMRC and corporate governance requirements
  • Responsibility for all returns to be made on time such as VAT (UK)
