About the Role
Reporting to the Finance Director, the Head of Finance for the Fuel business unit will provide financial support to the Sales Director and business partner with the Motia Commercial and Sales teams.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide robust and appropriate challenge to the commercial business to ensure Motia hits its budget, three-year plan, and acquisition targets.
- Support the team in delivering the growth required to achieve the aspirations of the business, particularly growth through the energy transition.
- Enhance and further develop customer profitability reporting to facilitate better commercial decisions to drive customer retention and growth.
- Key financial support to the business and any other ancillary businesses.
- Ownership of the P&L, work with the Financial Controller to ensure integrity and accuracy of reported results.
- Support the credit and Sales teams with significant 'risk vs reward' decisions in granting credit limits and payment terms.
- Full finance business partnership role supporting the Commercial team.
- Delivery of all reporting requirements to agreed deadlines 'on time in full'.
- Working with Financial Controller to ensure working capital levels are optimised and delivered in line with forecasts and budgets.
- Support to M&A and capital investment business cases.
- Other ad hoc duties as required.
- Compliance with the DCC Code of Conduct and other Group Policies.

Requirements
- CIMA or ACA qualified.
- Minimum 5 years post qualification experience.
- UK driving licence, with access to own vehicle.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages – Word, Outlook, Excel.
