Who we are Mother Tongue is a worldwide network of creatives, strategists and linguists. We offer language services to a range of global clients, and have a range of transcreation copywriters who localize existing campaigns and create original content in foreign languages. We are expanding our team of freelance KO>EN translators and proofreaders for an ongoing webcomic project. Who we are looking for Linguists with native-level proficiency in English and professional proficiency in Korean Previous translation or proofreading experience Prior experience in fun, creative copy similar to webcomics, gaming, marketing, subtitling, etc. Capacity to translate or edit at least 5,000 Korean characters per week Responsive with strong attention to detail and communication skills Recruitment process If you’re interested in this opportunity, please submit your CV. Shortlisted candidates will be asked to sign an NDA with Mother Tongue, complete a Test Piece and if successful, will be onboarded onto Mother Tongue’s supplier management system. If you are not selected, you may be asked to pursue a freelance engagement with Mother Tongue outside this project.
