Our mission is to redefine what it means to drink well and feel good ‑ with drinks that are complex, delicious and rooted in nature. Fresh from securing three offers on BBC Dragons’ Den, we’re on an exciting growth journey — scaling from a £7m brand today towards £50m+ in the years ahead, with 230% year‑on‑year growth already underway. With our small but mighty team, we’re building one of the UK’s fastest‑growing non‑alcoholic brands, both online and in retail. We’re bold, inclusive and ambitious. We value creativity, curiosity and collaboration — and we believe work should be joyful, purposeful and full of flavour.

The Role We’re looking for a results‑driven Paid Social Lead to lead one of the most important growth channels at Mother Root. You’ll own the day‑to‑day performance, creative testing, and scaling of Meta campaigns across the UK and US ‑ working closely with our Growth Director, Creative Strategist, and agency partners to deliver growth with strong unit economics. This is a hands‑on, high‑impact role for someone who thrives at the intersection of creative and data. You’ll have autonomy to lead the channel, set the testing roadmap, and shape how Mother Root shows up in‑feed with full support from our in‑house creative and strategic teams.

What You’ll Do

  • Own performance on Meta
  • Lead day‑to‑day campaign management and optimisation for Meta Ads (UK + US).
  • Hit clear CAC and ROAS targets, balancing short‑term growth with sustainable CM3 profitability.
  • Own the paid social testing roadmap from creative hypotheses to full‑funnel scaling.
  • Develop and execute campaigns that build both acquisition and brand equity using Meta to drive new customer growth, omni‑channel purchase intent (D2C, Amazon, grocery), and repeat buying.
  • Partner with the Creative Strategist and Growth Director to evolve messaging and formats that work across the funnel ‑ from awareness storytelling to retention‑driven reactivation.
  • Lead the creative testing process
  • Own the end‑to‑end creative testing framework on Meta from ideation and briefing through to structured analysis and scaling.
  • Collaborate closely with our Creative Strategist to develop briefs grounded in insight, data, and brand narrative.
  • Define and run a clear testing cadence that aligns media buying and creative variables exploring new hooks, formats, audiences, and offers.
  • Translate performance data into actionable learnings identifying what works, why, and how to scale it efficiently.
  • Work with agency partners to execute creative tests, share results, and continuously evolve performance creative.
  • Maintain a library of creative insights, frameworks, and playbooks ensuring learnings flow across growth, brand, and e‑comm.
  • Partner with the Growth Director on spend forecasting, testing rhythm, and strategic prioritisation.
  • Share learnings across teams helping creative, brand, and e‑comm understand what drives conversion, repeat, and brand lift.
  • Stay ahead of platform updates and best practices, championing innovation in both creative and media execution.
  • Report, analyse, and optimise
  • Build weekly and monthly performance reporting on CAC, ROAS, and contribution margin connecting paid social results to business impact.
  • Monitor spend pacing, efficiency, and incrementality; identify trends early and recommend clear actions.
  • Use analytics and measurement tools to quantify the true impact of paid social across all distribution channels (D2C, Amazon, grocery).
  • Collaborate with the Growth Director to feed Paid Social learnings into marketing mix models and budgeting decisions ensuring channel investment is optimised for both short‑term efficiency and long‑term brand growth.
  • Champion data integrity and structured experimentation ensuring insights are shared, reproducible, and actionable across the team.

What You’ll Bring

  • 4+ years’ experience managing Meta ads for a fast‑growing consumer brand (D2C or CPG preferred).
  • Deep understanding of creative testing, audience strategy, and the paid social performance funnel.
  • Strong analytical skills and comfort with CAC, ROAS, and profitability metrics.
  • Excellent collaborator able to work cross‑functionally with creative, brand, and growth teams.
  • Strong communicator who can turn numbers into clear, actionable insights.
  • A balance of creative intuition and data discipline.
  • Comfortable owning outcomes and excited by the pace and ambition of a high‑growth brand.

You’ll Thrive Here If You

  • You’re naturally curious ‑ you dig into anomalies in performance to understand what’s really happening.
  • You’re growth‑minded ‑ you care as much about building systems that scale as you do about today’s results.
  • You’re collaborative ‑ you bring the right people into the room to turn insights into impact.
  • You’re proactive ‑ if a campaign’s not delivering, you’re already testing a fix.
