Who we are:
At MOTH we're here for cocktails, company, and conversation. That's why we make the most delicious cocktails in a can - so that special mix can happen anywhere. Hands up - we're obsessive. Every sip delicious and distinguished. Our cocktails are classics, and our ingredients are second to none. At the same time - we're not snobbish. We don't talk in master mixologist lingo. We have no fancy bar or dress-code. And we believe in fair prices for great drinks. Because when you've got good friends and fine blends, what more do you need? Mix of total happiness. MOTH.

MOTH is one of the fastest growing FMCG brands, re-writing the rules of RTD cocktails and facing unprecedented growth. Our success is down to the work that our magic MOTHs do, we hire exceptional people to do exceptional things. Our team globally has grown to more than 60 people and we're not stopping there, we’re looking for a superstar UK Supply Planner to join the journey for an initial 4-month contract!

The role:
We are seeking a UK Supply Planner to join us for an initial 4-month contract to create, manage and improve the production plan across a network of contract manufacturers, ensuring MOTH has the right stock available at the right time, in the right quantity and to the required quality standards. The role balances customer service, inventory, supplier capability, production adherence and cost by translating demand requirements into executable supply plans and proactively managing risks, constraints and changes.

Key responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain short, medium and long-term production plans across assigned contract manufacturers, aligned to demand forecasts, stock targets, lead times and supply constraints.
  • Convert demand and inventory requirements into clear production schedules, purchase requirements and call-out plans for external manufacturing partners.
  • Monitor production adherence, identify deviations from plan and work with suppliers and internal stakeholders to recover supply, minimise service risk and protect customer availability.
  • Build strong day-to-day relationships with contract manufacturers, ensuring clear communication of requirements, priorities, risks, changes and performance expectations.
  • Review supplier capacity, material availability, production constraints and leadtime changes, escalating issues early and recommending practical recovery options.
  • Partner with Demand Planning, Commercial, Technical, Quality, Procurement, Logistics and Customer Operations to ensure supply plans reflect business priorities, launches, promotions, seasonal builds and portfolio changes.
  • Support S&OP and operational planning routines by providing accurate supply updates, highlighting risks and opportunities, and contributing to balanced service, cost, inventory and quality decisions.
  • Track stock levels, cover, ageing, obsolescence and availability risks, recommending actions to optimise inventory while maintaining service.
  • Ensure planning data is accurate and maintained in relevant ERP, MRP or planning systems, including lead times, minimum order quantities, production cycles, supplier calendars and master data.
  • Work with Technical and Quality teams to support quality conformance, supplier corrective actions and continuous improvement of manufacturing performance.
  • Identify and deliver process improvements that increase planning accuracy, reduce manual work, improve supplier reliability and strengthen governance across the contract manufacturing network.
  • Prepare regular performance reports, dashboards and action trackers covering production adherence, supplier performance, service risks, quality conformance and improvement activity.
  • Product assemblies, wastage tracking & management
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
  • Production Adherence: Ensure contract manufacturers deliver agreed production plans and according to master schedules.
  • Supplier Management: Drive supplier performance through active communication, yield tracking, structured issue resolution and timely escalation.
  • Quality Conformance: Guarantee production output meets all quality specs, actively tracking non-conformances and applying corrective action plans.
  • Service & Availability: Align supply plans with customer demand targets to minimise out-of-stock risks across the UK product portfolio.
  • Process Improvement & Data Integrity: Continuously improve planning processes, reporting accuracy and inventory management workflows.

Who you are:
  • Experience in supply planning, production planning, materials planning or a related supply chain role, ideally within FMCG, food, drink, consumer goods or a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience in working with external suppliers, co-packers, and contract manufacturers, building collaborative relationships, managing performance commitments and setting clear expectations.
  • Strong understanding of production planning, inventory management, lead times, capacity constraints and supply risk management.
  • Knowledge of S&OP or integrated business planning processes and the role of supply planning within cross-functional decision-making.
  • Confident user of ERP, MRP or planning systems, with strong Excel and data analysis capability.
  • Excellent attention to detail, numerical accuracy and ability to maintain disciplined planning routines in a fast-paced FMCG environment.
  • Strong communication, influencing and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to challenge assumptions and escalate risks constructively.
  • Practical continuous improvement mindset, with the ability to simplify processes, improve data quality and embed consistent ways of working.
  • Commercially aware, with the ability to balance customer service, cost, cash, inventory and operational feasibility.
