Polish Technician in Coalville

About The Role

Motability Operations are currently recruiting an experienced Vehicle Polisher to join our busy, state-of-the-art refurbishment centre in Coalville on a permanent basis.

This is a high-volume site with consistent work (no downtime or waiting for jobs), working on a modern vehicle fleet using the latest polishing and paint correction equipment.

What you’ll be doing:

• Machine polishing and finishing vehicle paintwork
• Blocking and polishing panels to a high standard
• Removing defects (de-nibbing) and carrying out paint rectification
• Completing final-stage polish to prepare vehicles for handover
• Delivering right-first-time results to reconditioning standards

Due to the nature of this role we will require you on-site in Coalville 5-days per week.

Package:

• Up to £35,700 basic salary
• Bonus up to 15%
• 15% pension contribution

Hours:

• 45 hours per week
• 9-hour shifts between 06:30-18:00
• Shift patterns discussed at interview

About You

We are a diverse business looking for a Polish Technician, with a passion for the automotive industry that puts quality at the beginning of every process. Your keen eye and technical knowledge will ensure that vehicles within the cosmetic teams are accurately repaired to Motability standards. Proficient in using the latest methods, we are looking for someone who enjoys working in a dynamic environment, collaborating with your team to achieve goals.

Minimum criteria:

• Panel block and polishing experience
• Paint rectification experience
• SMART repair knowledge beneficial
• Full UK driving licence (manual)
